The Collective closes its performance season with a two-night celebration of the songs that shaped hearts, stirred souls, and defined an era. Tapestry brings to life the timeless music of Carole King and the close circle of artists she inspired and collaborated with—most notably James Taylor, Carly Simon, Linda Ronstadt, Jim Croce, Paul Simon, and many more of her contemporaries who shared her creative fire. Don’t miss the students of the Uptown Music Collective as they bring to life the timeless music of Carole King’s definitive album, “Tapestry”—from the intimate confessions of “It’s Too Late” and “So Far Away,” to the familiar warmth of “You’ve Got a Friend,” to the unforgettable hits she crafted for other artists. These classics appear alongside songs by the other great songwriters of her generation, threading together melodies and stories that still echo across the decades. Tapestry: The Songs of Carole King & Friends is scheduled for Friday, April 24, & Saturday, April 25, at 7:30 p.m.

The Rocket Man Show

This is Elton! Crash land into your seat with The Rocket Man Show, starring Scotsman Rus Anderson – Elton John’s official stunt and body double as featured in the ‘Farewell Yellow Brick Road’ world tour.

Chosen by Elton himself, Rus pilots a night of greatest hits, while slamming the piano and wearing Elton’s actual personally owned costumes from the 1970’s. 

As featured on E! Rus’ portrayal has been described as “Amazing” by Jimmy Fallon and “Phenomenal” by Queen’s Adam Lambert. 

The Rocket Man Show has quickly joined the list of must-see tickets in town and is perhaps summed up best by ‘All About That Bass’ megastar Meghan Trainor who claims “You IS Elton!”

It’s one small step for man…one giant leap for Elton John fans.

WHOSE LIVE ANYWAY? is 90 minutes of hilarious improvised comedy and song all based on audience suggestions. Cast members Ryan Stiles, Greg Proops, Jeff B. Davis, and Joel Murray will leave you gasping with the very witty scenes they invent before your eyes. Audience participation is key to the show so bring your suggestions and you might be asked to join the cast onstage! WHOSE LIVE ANYWAY? showcases some of the improv games made famous on the long-running TV show as well as some exciting new ones, featuring musical direction by Laura Hall. All ages are welcomed, but please note that some “PG-13” language will be used during the performance. Martin Media presents WHOSE LIVE ANYWAY? is scheduled for Friday, October 9, at 7:30 p.m.
