Women of Excellence

Since 2009, the YWCA Northcentral PA has celebrated Women of Excellence, honoring countless women and young ladies who get up, do the work, and lift our communities. This annual event celebrates generations of strong, creative, and caring changemakers who lead by example, embrace civic responsibility, and demonstrate exceptional leadership. This year’s award ceremony will celebrate the accomplishments of women and young ladies who have achieved success in their field, demonstrated academic excellence, and contributed to their communities. Through seven award categories recognizing women and young ladies, all award recipients are selected for their vision, courage, compassion, and proven success. The YWCA Northcentral PA values Women, Community, Empowerment, and Courage. We believe that one woman’s success is inspiration for another. We are committed to investing in and advocating for a thriving community where all individuals are equal, powerful, and safe.
