As the historic Community Arts Center, we are key to the economic vitality of Williamsport’s downtown. Did you know that every $1 spent on tickets for an event at the Community Arts Center generates an additional $8 of cash flow into the local economy via hotel accommodations, area dining, and consumer retail purchases? Moreover, we generated $1.5 million in ticket revenues this last season, which translates to $12 million of trickle down inflow to the local economy. And yet, less than half of our operating revenue comes from ticket sales. Our continued success relies on the generous donations of our patrons.
